Korean heartthrob Gong Yoo and gorgeous Song Hey Kyo are ready to set your heart on fire with their upcoming K-drama “Slowly but Intensely”. According to K-media outlets Gong Yoo and Song Hey started filling their highly anticipated drama on January 12.

The drama is written by famous writer Noh Hee Kyung, who also previously projected ‘Dear My Friends,” “Our Blues,” and “It’s Okay, That’s Love.” This is the third project of Song with Noh Hee Kyung after "The World That They Live In" and "That Winter, the Wind Blows". The drama is under the direction of notable director Lee Yoon Jung. Gong Yoo had also worked with him, previously in “Coffee Prince.”
The speculation has been begun when Song Hye, recently appeared with short hair and shared her photos on social media. She also has appeared on a YouTube show where she created curiosity among her fans and followers. Later, that created a buzz on the internet, and fans have flooded social media speculating this is for “Slow and Intensly.”
According to media reports, the show's budget is also the talk of the town, approaching approx. 75 to 80 billion KRW. The creators are looking forward to wrapping up filming in the first half of the year and realising it on Netflix.
“Slowly but Intensely” is a period drama set in the 1960s to 1970s, when the broadcasting industry started blooming. The drama is based on showcasing the life of stars and the people behind the broadcast and entertainment. The show captures the lives of stars behind the curtain and focuses on the people who create and shape their images.
The fans are eagerly waiting for “Squid Game 2” and “Glory” star’s on-screen chemistry, as they have never worked together. With the fine and intense skill of portraying deep characters, it would interesting to watch them together for the very first time.
