 Zhao Lusi’s recent health condition revealed the harsh reality of entertainment industries and abusive behaviour, sparking debate and concern among fans.

Worldy famous CDrama “Hidden Love” star 26-year old, Zhao Lusi, recently collapsed on the set of her upcoming project. She was taken to a hospital in Shanghai, where her condition became stable, yet it sparked widespread concern among her fans who call her Rosy. A video of Rosy in which she was spotted existed on a wheelchair went viral, raising questions about her health condition.

What happened

On December 18 2024, many reports in cmedia came of surfaced that Zhao Lusi had collapsed while filming for her project. A video bounced on the internet where she was spotted on a wheelchair, wearing mask and a cape, and staff in a concerned manner. Later she was hospitalized and her agency released a statement of suspending her ongoing schedule and focuse on her health condition. Her agency revealed she is now under medical care and focused on her recovery. 

Lusi’s issues again shed light on physical and verbal abuses and mental conditions they face by their agencies. Fans reacted to her condition. Fans raising their voice on X calling out the agency, Brisbane based photographer and Cdrama enthusiast Jodi said on X, “No actor, model, or human being deserves this treatment. To endure physical, verbal & emotional abuse from company since 2019 is beyond what anyone should have to bear.” and hashtags like #Istandwithrozy or TruthforZhaoLusi trending on X.

Zhao Lusi’s case again revealed the harsh reality of the entertainment world where they get inhuman treatment and hours of work pressure without even concerning their health, and things get more serious when verbal and physical abuse get involved.

Zhao’s friend highlighted one incident Rosy shared with her, where she was beaten and abused for an hour in the washroom by one of her agency’s staff she had worked with in the year 2019. 

   

The emotional and physical abuse she endured in her career is not only her but a matter of concern for many actors actresses and idols across the world working under these agencies. They made them work till their physical and mental exhaustion to maximize their profit, some gets through it, and some collapse and take horrifying steps, but the trauma lasts lifelong, with them and their families.

Health condition 

Well! The good news is Global Star Rosy’s condition is stable now, and she is in recovery, taking care, love and support from her family, friends and global fans. Many videos of her exercising and trying to walk on her own are circulating on social media giving relief to her fans and well-wishers. However, the videos of her recovery also show how life-threatening it could have been if this had not happened, as she was seen struggling to walk properly and finding difficulty eating with a spoon.
