Chinese Actor Wang Xing was Found In Myanmar, got scammed by Human Trafficking Group

Wang Xing was recently found missing, while he was on a trip to Bangkok related to work. On January 7, he was rescued by Thai authorities with his head shaved and skin bruised. Later, The Chinese Embassy in Thailand confirm he is safe now and will be soon return to China.

Wang Xing, a 31-year-old Chinese actor who has worked in several Chinese dramas, was lured to work with a Thai entertainment agency, later he was found in Myanmar,  the region is known for criminal activities like online scams of investment and gambling.

In a video clip posted online, Wang Xing was seen expressing his gratitude to Thai authorities for his rescue and said “Thailand is safe”, and he “definitely return [to Thailand]” if given the chance.

According to Thai media, Wang Xing said he was locked up with 50 other Chinese nationals in a factory and also was asked to practice typing and which he believes was to work at a scam centre, to scam Chinese individuals.
